My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi recently delighted the anime community with a hilarious artistic slip up that has gone viral across social media platforms!
Horikoshi shared a vibrant new illustration featuring fan favorite characters Shoto Todoroki and Izuku Midoriya, but eagle eyed readers quickly spotted an unusual detail: Todorokis raised hand clearly had six fingers instead of five.
Rather than ignoring the mistake, Horikoshi lightheartedly acknowledged the extra digit in a follow up comment.
The hilarious moment escalated further when Yuki Kaji, the legendary Japanese voice actor for Todoroki, joined in on the fun by joking that the extra finger would allow his character to “unleash more fire than usual!”
