Pokémon just turned Snorlax into a $6,000 gold necklace

Pokémon has teamed up with premium Japanese brand U-Treasure for a luxury jewelry collection celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary. 

The crown jewel of the collection is an 18k yellow gold Snorlax necklace priced at a staggering $6,118. Though the delicate pendant measures just 13.65 mm tall, the craftsmanship showcases the nap-loving Pokémon's iconic round belly in a meticulously detailed, 360-degree design. Snorlax isn't alone in this high-end lineup; fans can also pick up a golden Ditto for $3,060, a classic Pikachu for $2,650, or a Pikachu paired with a Poké Ball for $1,770.

For those on a tighter budget, U-Treasure is offering gold-plated silver alternatives for a much more accessible $203. Pre-orders are officially open now through August 14, available on the official Pokémon online store and select boutiques across Japan.
